Sonam Ngima Sherpa is a highly experienced trekking and peak climbing guide from Nepal with more than two decades of experience in the Himalayan tourism industry. He began his journey as a trekking porter in 2001 and earned his official trekking guide license in 2007. Since then, he has guided trekkers and climbers across many of Nepal’s famous trekking regions and high mountain passes.

He is professionally trained in emergency first aid and mountain safety, providing confidence and security to trekkers throughout their journeys in the Himalayas.

Sonam has successfully climbed several trekking peaks up to 6,470 meters, including:

Mera Peak
Island Peak
Lobuche East
Chulu Far West
Yala Peak

Over the years, he has guided many international trekkers through remote mountain trails, high passes, and culturally rich villages across Nepal. His friendly personality, deep mountain knowledge, strong leadership, and dedication to client safety have earned the trust and satisfaction of many travelers from around the world.
